 Al-Imam Won IT Government Application Project Award

​​Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, representing by its Deanship of Information Technology, has recently honoured and won the IT Application Project of the Year - Enterprise Service Bus Project, at the second .GOV Awards Saudi Arabia, which are presenting to government organisations and IT professionals in recognition of their achievements in driving the digital transformation of the Kingdom.

Commending the historic achievement, Dr. Waleed Abdulaziz Al-Jandal, Dean of Deanship of Information Technology, has congratulated H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, and all members of the university community on the accomplished achievement.

In coincidence with the award, Dr. Al-Jandal has furthered that, the second version of .GOV Awards Saudi Arabia attracted a strong field of nominations, reflecting the diversity of the use of technology among government entities in the Kingdom. The gained award reflects the distinguished efforts and business of IT Deanship during the last period, as it always seeks continuously to offer the best-in-class services and technological tools and solutions to all units and administrations of the university, added Dr. Al-Jandal.

In respect of the won application, Enterprise Service Bus Project, Dr. Al-Jandal has clarified that, it comprehensively integrates all components of the female students’ service bus project and automating its processes smoothly base on service-oriented architecture (SOA) through a communication protocol over a network.

It is worth to mention that, the .GOV Awards were established by ITP Technology's .Gov magazine in 2015, to recognise the achievements of the public sector in the field of ICT in and Saudi Arabia. Moreover, to honour the outstanding efforts by the public sector in the GCC to use the power of technology to deliver innovative and engaging government services.
